This elegant 18th century building is the former residence
of the Marquis de Sade. The hotel is in
a glorious setting, is very comfortable and caters for
all of your gastronomic needs.
Nestled at the foot of the legendary Mount Ventoux,
The 'Château de Mazan' is situated in the charming
village of Mazan, in the heart of Provence. The
'Château de Mazan' offers you its 25 rooms, each
with a personal touch offering elegance, comfort and sophistication,
spacious suites with flowered terraces, rooms with private gardens,
others with steam baths or with magnificent views over
the tiled roofs of the village. Each room is
a journey, an initiatory experience to 'Provençale' colours. At
the château in 1772, the Marquis organised the first
theatre festival in France. In memory of this event
we have created a gastronomic restaurant, 'l'Ingénue', managed by
our talented chef Franck Pujol. On summer evenings we
invite you onto the large terrace of the Château
which overhangs the garden. In winter during cooler nights
