Situated in the southern part of the resort and
overlooking the village of l’Alpe de Venosc, the Chalet
Mounier has severals assets. Location
The situation
of the Chalet Mounier from a resort viewpoint :
- the covered, surveyed car park is
situated 50 metres away
- just 150
metres away is the Diable telecabin with its easy
access to the Jandri, the largest skiable glacier in
Europe. Situated between 2800 and 3600 metres, the glacier
offers a downhill descent of 800 metres where skiing
is possible winter and summer. The glacier is linked
to the resort of La Grave La Meije ;
a well known off - piste sking area.
